Some more learnimg

Portraits

Recently we have been learning how to do portraits. Our teacher took us through the steps and techniques of drawing a portrait.
First she took a photo of us so we could see what we look like.
Then we drew the shape of our faces. The eyes were the coolest part. We drew 5 eyes across the face lightly with chalk. Then we rubbed out the outer eyes and the one in the middle stayed, they were in the perfect place.
Then we added the mouth and nose. We had some special chalk pencils. They blended very nicely to blend the  colours of our head and skin.
When we have finished we will put some on our blog.

  2. Great work guys. Do you know that in the conceptual age, which you guys are now living in, design is a concept that people think is really important. I cant wait to see how you have designed your portraits - look closely.

  3. I am very curious to see the finished portraits. I am a visual learner so I think if I saw you do this, then I would be able to do this too.

    Ciao artists!

  4. Hi Josie and Rebeka,

I'm looking forward to seeing your finished portraits. What part did you find the most difficult? What was the easiest part to draw?
