Two more narratives to enjoy

Kakaruik Island
The clear blue sea shone under the summer sun. The soft green grass swished in the wind. The clouds looked like puffy marshmellows.
There was a godess of the island. She had chocolate brown hair and olive skin. Her name wass Isha. She was the goddess of life. Isha had a Sumatran tiger with golden fur and a stripy pattern on her back. Her name was Lasi. Isha lived in a house inside the volcano. She had secret passage ways to get into and out of her house.
One day fifteen lumberjacks came on a boat with all their equipment. They started cutting down the lush green trees in the forest with their chainsaws.
Isha came out of her house to see where all the noise was coming from. When she saw the fifteen lumberjacks she froze in astonishment. Then she shouted at them, “Don’t you dare cut down those trees or I will do something you will not like!” The lumberjacks ignored her and kept on cutting down the trees.
That did it. Isha ran into her house. She immediately started making a potion. When she was done she put it in a glass bottle and ran to the top of the mountain. She shouted at them, “I will give you one last chance to stop cutting down those trees”.
They ignored her again, so she poured the potion onto the mountain and immediately it started to smoke. After ten minutes it started to erupt. The fifteen lumberjacks screamed and ran to their boat, jumped in and scooted away as fast as they could go.
Isha stopped the volcano and jumped for joy. She had saved the forest.

The Island’s Apprentice
Prologue
The beautiful island of Tourmaline is an enormous, beautiful island, although a very rocky, razor sharp volcano has erupted with amazing red and boiling lava spreading onto the soft and sandy beach.
But on the beach is the god Narnia, god of weaponry, and animal life and death.
The god of lightning, flight and wind (Zorak) awaits Narnia because they have met and became arch enemies when Zorak tripped and hurt Narnia. That’s when Narnia got mutilated to the six armed god she is now, twenty years later...
Narnia and Zorak are reunited, only a fisherman called Allark can save the world from the evil monster that Narnia and Zorak pose as.
The Fortune Teller
Allark is nervous, tingling with excitement. “I wonder what my fortune will be?” wondered Allark when he finally got there. The fortune teller came out. “Good afternoon my son”. “But it is only nine o’clock in the morning”, said the fortune teller.
Allark took one step into the rusty caravan and gasped, “ HOW DO YOU MAKE IT SO BIG?”. “Magic”, boasted the fortune teller. “Now how about we look at your fortune. You will save the world from evil gods and a monster. The monster’s name is Ace”. Allack was shocked. “How could I possibly save the world?”. “You just will”.
The Island
Allack followed his destiny and shipped himself to Tourmaline. “Fantastic”, mumbled Allark, “beautiful forest and beautiful water”. Soon he found himself not alone. An enormous monster was standing right next to him. It was Zorak and Narnia. He got his machine gun out. They dueled for two whole hours! Finally Allark won. “Justice is done”. “Not yet”, shouted the gods. But just before they cursed him a huge hurricane hit blowing the gods away for ever.
Tourmaline now remains a beautiful island with a dormant volcano.

  2. Hi Josie and Rebeka, thank goodness there is a goddess out there looking after the forests. I liked your problem (realistic) and resolution. Keep up the great writing.

Hi Hunter and Toby, you guys have written a great narrative and I especially like how you used a prologue and chapters. This shows really good organisation of your ideas. Looking forward to reading your next piece of work.
