Pacifica Heartbeat
Near the end of last term we went on a cool trip. It was called Pacifica Heartbeat. We met the Pacific Mamas at the town hall, they taught us how to drum and a new dance. We then went to the Aotea centre where we met an artist who showed us her digital art. She did it all on the computer. We then had a go.
After lunch we walked to the art gallery and looked at John Pules art. The Pacific Mamas taught us how to plat with raffia, we then drew our own John Pule designs on a card. We made a neat necklace. We then went to Aotea square where we performed our dance. It was the best trip ever.
