On Thursday the 29th of March two groups of people went to Inner City Softball. One was called the B team and one was the A team! The B team had thirteen people in their team and the A team had eleven people. We left at 10 past 9 to go to Coxes Bay.
When we got there we had to sit down and wait for some other schools. When they got there a women told us about who we will be versing. there were four teams When she was done we went to our part of the field. When our first opponent came Uala told us where our places were. We went to them. Then the game started. It took about
fifteen minutes until we finished one innings. When the innings finished we swapped to batting. There was one batter at a time.
Here are some photos of our games. The B team won their first game 5-2 , tied their second and lost two of their games.
The A team lost all their games. After all of our games we got an ice block and a lolly pop each. Sadly both teams didn’t get into the finals. When we got back to school we got another lolly pop and a chocolate and we all felt proud of ourselvesby Ben
I really enjoyed going to the softball day with you guys. even though neither team got in the finals, I thought you both played really well.
