THe Tree Stump Around Great North Rd

Tree stump Around Gt North Rd.

This tree stump used to be a part of the Grey Lynn School forest. It had to be cut down because it was old, rotting, dangerous and getting in the way. It was sad to see it go, but now we can see much more of Great North road.

It’s one of the big changes around Grey Lynn School.

We have planted new trees around the hill. Soon they will grow big, but hopefully we don’t have to cut them down too.

  1. Talofa Jordan and Madeline firstly i love the photo taken of the stump. Who did the photography? Good job. As for the forrest am very sad that it was cut down because when i was a child i use to play on those trees and watch the cars come up Gt North Rd. However i do understand the reason the trees had to go. The last two sentences in your writing I hope as well that they dont get eh chop!! Good team work.
