Poetry From Room 12

We have been learning how to write poetry. This week we have learnt how to write a diamante poem. A diamante is a 7 line contrast poem set up in a diamond shape,representing an image of an object, a person or an idea.
We will be sharing some of our poetry keep watching.

                                     Snakes
                                Smart snapping
                          slithering,spying,sneaking
                          mice lazy, snakes awake
                          sliding planning strangling
                                 now asleep
                                     reptile
