Clementine Has Changed

Baby Clementine came in for another visit. Melissa was early so Clementine had her bottle while we asked Melissa some questions. We noticed that Clementine has grown, and she has more hair. She is now starting to reach out for things like her shoe, and her teething ring. Melissa said that Clementine has begun to roll over . When she was on the mat she kept rolling from side to side. She didn't know which way to look. Clementine is just about able to sit by herself. Melissa said that they can prop her up in the corner of the couch now. We wonder if she will be able to sit up next time we see her.

  2. Room 12, you are so lucky to have the lovely Clementine and Melissa visit you. Babies can teach us so much about empathy and how to treat each other....and they are SO cute!

  3. Hello Room12,

We always have a little jealous pang as we see Melissa and the baby arrive for your Roots of Empathy lessons. We think you're lucky to have a baby visit your class.

We have 2 questions for you:

    1. What are you learning from a baby?
    2. Can you explain the difference between empathy and sympathy?

    Thanks Room12 !

    Keep up the blogging !
