Landscapes

Room 12 have been learning about landscapes. We have looked at the artist Stanley Palmer.

We have been learning how to identify backgrounds and foregrounds and to show perspective by drawing larger things in the front and smaller things in the back. So far we have sketched, and collaged landscape scenes. Now we have tried to draw landscapes using kidpix. What do you think? Have we been able to show perspective.

    We liked being able to see the background and foreground in your landscapes.
    Yes. We think you have shown perspective because the objects at the front were bigger than the objects at the back.

    Yes, I do think you managed to created perspective in your kidpix landscapes, and you did it really well. What great animators and graphic designers you are!

    I can't wait to see your screen printed lanscapes later this term...

    Talofa Room 12. Great slideshow of your landscapes. Am loving the use of kidpix in your class GREAT JOB. Also good selection of music, it fits with your images.     Wow, what amazing kidpix pictures! We think that you can see perspective in them. We like how they all look different from each other too. How did you choose what to draw?
