Room 12 has been learning about measurement. Our group had to measure in cups. We had to measure different sized glasses in millitres. We had to estimate which cup held the most , which cup held the least and which cups held the same. We used small measuring cups that held 50mls of water. Here is a table that shows our estimates and the actual results. By Tom,Jasper,Thomas, Emma, Narelle and Christina

Well, am I impressed or what? Well done on integrating Maths and ICT. I will let you in on a secret - don't tell anyone. (in a whisper voice) A lot of ICT "experts" says it cannot be done ! Well HA ! You did it and what an interesting activity. Did you have fun doing it and did you learn anything new?
ReplyDeleteKeep it up ! I am loving it !
Now I know what you guys have been getting up to outside our classroom all week! I could tell you were having heaps of fun and loving it too.

Every day i see you guys with trays of water measuring things and it looks really fun and interesting.Your estimates also look very close to the actual volume! cool!
