Turtles

Turtles are reptiles because they have scaly skin. Turtles shells are like people’s fingernails. If they are a red eared turtle they can live up to 30 years old. Red eared turtles live in warm water. Turtles eat meat and plants.  Turtles don’t have any teeth but they swallow food whole. They have very good eyesight.  Turtles have ears but you can’t see them.  Now you know that turtles are cool creatures.
